SXSW Tech Crew

An incubator of cutting-edge technologies, the SXSW Interactive Festival offers five days of compelling presentations from the brightest minds in emerging technology. Topics for 2010 will include design, wireless innovation, online marketing, social networks and more.

As a volunteer for the Conference Tech Crew, you will be in the panel rooms during the Interactive Conference and able to enjoy the presentations and conversations, learning while you work. In addition, you’ll be earning hours toward a SXSW perk – meaning a pass, wristband, badge or other access to one or more of the three festivals (Music, Film, and Interactive). We are one of the few crews where all of our volunteer shifts are done before the Music festival starts (on March 17), meaning if you are earning a Music pass or badge you will be free to enjoy the festival with no further volunteer commitments.

Conference volunteers are eligible to earn one of the following perks:

• 40 hours = Film pass or Music wristband
• 50 hours = Gold badge or SX Music Pass
• 60 hours = Music Badge
• 80 hours = Platinum Badge
